President Obama’s Affordable Care Act is about to launch and yet there are members of the GOP still trying to derail his presidency’s greatest achievement.

The Randolph County School Board of Asheboro, North Carolina in their collective wisdom last week, September 18th, banned the brilliant literary work of Ralph Ellison’s classic “Invisible Man” book from school libraries.
Mr. Ellison’s masterpiece if you are not familiar is about a black man dealing with racism in the segregated 1950’s.
The novel begins, “I am invisible, understand, simply because people refuse to see me.”
I breathe a sigh of relief this morning in learning they have rescinded their decision.
I shudder at censorship and I shake from head to toe when someone wants to be my moral compass.
